October 2011


Pack and Send Bunbury

Competed against 110 franchisees, many of which are in capital cities with far greater staffing and experience with the Pack & Send services, won the Branding Award. This award acknowledges the promotion of the corporate brand through marketing strategies and the exposure of their new store in Bunbury.

Pack & Send also won the Team Player Award, which is voted by all franchisees to the store that offers the most assistance, advice and professional standards within the network.
Phil Jones, the owner of Pack & Send, was also pleased to be announced as Runner Up to the National Award, which is awarded by the Franchisor to the store that provides exceptional standards in financial management, growth, marketing and acknowledgements by customers who have used their store. This is a true indication they are on the right track and announces that they are the best regional store in the country! Their success has provided excellent exposure for the Bunbury area.

Ebiz Solutions

Won the award for the top MYOB Consultants in WA for the 7th Year in a row. Both Don and Rob Marshall have won multiple awards over the years. Don Marshall also won the award for Best sales results and Rob Marshall was announced as the 2011 Australian MYOB Partner/Consultant of the Year.

Lomax Media

West Coast International College of English
West Coast International College of English is celebrating their 5th birthday now and remains Western Australia’s only regional nationally-accredited ELICOS college.  This is quite a feat given that the international education industry has recently experienced ‘the perfect storm’ of negative factors and tens of colleges have closed down in the last year. In addition, their  director David Byatt has been nominated for the “40 Under 40” WA Business News Awards.

Nara Training & Assessing

Not only was Nara Training & Assessing a finalist in the 2011 Telstra State Business Awards, but on the 16th of September they became the Winner of the coveted WA Small Training Provider of The Year award. They are now looking forward to the National finals to be held later in the year.

Vineyard 28

Vineyard 28 won the “Best Speciality Wine” at the World Kitchen Geographe Wine Show 2011, with “The Alternative” Moscato.  Their 2010 “Red Cap” Cabernet Sauvignon was awarded a Bronze Medal in it’s class. This is the second medal for this wine.

Was honoured at the Australian Hotels Association WA awards night, winning the best pub/hotel accommodation award.

Amongst 6 finalists from around Australia including three from WA in the running for the coveted Association of Financial Advisers Adviser of the Year Award.

Downunder RV

Tom and Christine Spry and their team from Downunder RV has just won Caravan Dealer of the Year and also Customer service Dealer of the year for Australia. This award is from Vanguard who build their own Downunder vans and many other vans for other dealers around Australia. This award has been won by the same company the last 4 years in a row. This is the first time a company has won both awards in the same year.

Harvey River Bridge Estate

Won 17 awards in 4 wine shows in Oct/Nov.

Harvey Fresh:

At the 2011 WA Industry and Export Awards Harvey Fresh were thrilled to win the Agribusiness Export Award, and awarded the Premier's Award for Excellence as well.
